Mission

MISSION

The mission of the Wayzata Sailing Foundation is to increase the education of, understanding of, and appreciation of sailing both in competitive racing and recreational cruising. The foundation undertakes fund raising to:

Support public sailing clinics for students in the local community.
Promote community youth sailing by providing boats, accessories and instruction in affordable classes for students who otherwise would not have such an opportunity.
Support other non-profit and 501(c)3 organizations that introduce and further the enjoyment of sailing and sailboat racing for youth through education.
Underwrite training, education and competition for non-profit youth sailing teams.
