Come one! Come all! Join your fellow sailors at the Wayzata Yacht Club for the fourth Star of the North Regatta. A premier regatta featuring three days of one-design racing in the Capri 25, Sonar and S2 7.9 classes, this regatta has been held annually since 2008, except in 2011 when it was put on hiatus so our club could host the Capri/Catalina National Championship and the Sonar North American Championship.
Get your crew organized and registered. Order your T-shirts and extra dinner tickets. Order lunches in advance, or plan to bring your own. All lunch breaks will be taken “on the water”.
Continental breakfast will be available all 3 days. Friday night will be a burger and brat feast with live music by David K. Saturday will feature a Greek dinner, live music by “Rhythm Engine”, and a lively raffle. Each registered boat will receive 4 Mount Gay red caps and 4 tickets to the Saturday dinner. Additional tickets for Saturday dinner can be purchased for $10. Tickets are not required for Friday dinner or Sunday lunch.
The registration fee remains unchanged at $120 per boat until midnight September 8th. Where else can you get this much fun and quality racing for $40 per day? After September 8th, the fee increases to $150, so don’t delay, register today!
